Sounds
like the authors maybe drank a bit too much Kool Aid. If this polarized
Congress votes 400 + to single digits, I'm going to assume they have a
better grasp of what is in a bill than these folks who wrote this
article. Notice how they slip in a couple of projections like the govt
may be willing to use martial law to cancel elections or throw the poor
little enviro terrorists into prison? Nice to see the Chron support
such hyperbole.

butter their bread with blood. Locking up milllions of them sounds like
a marvelous idea. Just kiddin, kinda, sorta. I'm struggling with a huge
guilt complex from having been born in America and having bought the bs
for so many years without investigating the truth of the matter for
myself. Admittedly it isn't easy to discern the truth but anyone in
this country that thinks a major lockup of the sort described in this
article couldn't happen in America hasn't been paying attention to what
is going on around them. My humble advice, don't go quietly into the
night. A write in vote for Ron Paul could ad years of unincarcerated
existence to your life.
I
am disheartened that so many comments dismissed the article about
concentration camps in the US. But I congratulate the SFC for
publishing it. I understand the dismissing comments in that I once
published concerning a naval situation in 1984. Many conspiracy types
came to me with other stuff. I dismissed them as I thought would
detract from what I had written. Slowly I began to see. There have been
many pictures of these camps on the Web. The non-reaction of most media
and the public lets me understand what it was like to be in Germany in
the thirties.
I
have researched US Govt policy, both foreign and domestic, keeping
abeast with the latest technologies and whistleblowers within
government agencies. What is being written here is absolutely true. In
fact, much more could be added. In face of our own Constitutional
demise, a war with no end and economic collapse, all of US should be
paying attention to such descriptions.

right okthatsit Americans do need pull their head out of the sand and
wake up before it is too late. The first and most important thing to
realize is this "100 Year War on Terror" is a scam, although it might
be a very profitable scam for the likes of Halliburton, KBR and the
Military Industrial Complex. That's the same Military Industrial
Complex General Eisenhower warned the US people about 50 years ago
would pose a threat to democracy should it be allowed to get out of
control. Just google "North American Union and Vchip" to find out where
we are heading.
America
and the ideals of liberty are collapsing faster than WTC7. What to
do....? IMHO.... As Oprah would advocate...learn and speak, don't let
fear breed in silence. We are deer in the headlights, but speaking
about it will encourage us that it is ok to awaken to what is happening
to America and the world. Always come those demanding tribute, but the
scale is now global and the odds are imposing and stifling...... but
its the only game in town. Freedom.

What
dismays me is that this news is not in the mainstream media. It's here
in the Chronicle as an op-ed piece on Page B7. And there are only a few
readers' comments about it, compared to the more than 700 that were
posted about conditions at the SF Zoo. Some reporter(s), somewhere,
should be doing a blockbuster story about this whole situation, and it
should be screaming headlines across the nation.
Mainstream
media is run by large corporations that control our perceptions and our
elections. Remember how long it took them to stop being spoon fed with
lies and regurgitating it to us without checking the facts? If you want
it investigated and covered send the link to Anderson Cooper, Keith
Olbermann or whoever you consider to be fair and demand that they
investigate and report their findings. "Keeping them Honest?" We'll see.

Maybe there is an explanation for this other than the clear inferences
drawable from the retrofitting of the Beech Grove yard, but I haven't
seen it. Immigration status in doubt? Here is an operating ICE
facility, called a "public-private partnership", once a correctional
facility, with playgrounds added for fun for the entire family of an
undocumented suspect:
